New Orleans is known as the “Big Easy.” The name of this gallery is in reference to the film by Harry Shearer The Big Uneasy I use this as the name for this gallery because as fun as New Orleans can be is is not easy to live there. This gallery is a testament to the people that continue to exist, survive, and even thrive in The Big Easy. She is a hard city to live, hard city to love, but most of all a hard city to leave.
